Hope recovered for French students

Hearing about the French trip’s cancellation, all seemed hopeless for the 21 students who had already started packing. With $5,000 lost to a bankrupt company, nothing but regrets and helplessness filled the hearts of both the students and parents alike.

Spreading awareness for Special Olympics

With a flurry of buttons and ribbons, awareness of the Special Olympics has been widespread not only through the school, but through the nation.

To Prom or not to Prom

Her moment has finally come. Senior Christan Gorden, finished with hair and makeup, slips on her princess gown as the last step before taking pictures. But her heart skips as she realizes that her Prom dress is not fitting her like it should. Gorden’s eyes fill with tears while she dials for her stepmother’s help. Eventually, the dress is hemmed, but Gorden missed her picture time. Later, rushing across the parking lot to post-Prom, Gorden arrives to a truck that doesn’t start.

“Chuck” out the rest of TV

OK, so here’s a few things you might need to know. “Chuck” is a show about a geeky, ex-Stanford student who is now working in the Nerd Herd at the local Buy More (parody of Geek Squad and Best Buy). Since being expelled from Stanford, Chuck’s life has been an endless drone of fixing computers and reminiscing about his ex-girlfriend, Jill.

Blood, gore overwhelm Teen CERT

Screams and wails stream through the parking lot as the Teen CERT students flock onto the scene. Blood and gore penetrate their vision as they step onto the bus loaded with severely wounded drama students.
